Burger King recently released a new hamburger that they are calling the “The Bacon King.” The product has been heavily advertised on their facebook page. Burger King does a great job of keeping the page updated and responding to customer’s comments. The company posts regular pictures of the new product to get its consumers excited to try its newest addition. The only critique that I can give the company about its online advertising is that instead of just posting pictures of the product with a theme, they should try expressing why this burger is better than other fast food burgers on the market. The pictures can only say so much. I would recommend they post what exactly goes into each Bacon King burger and why it beats out the competitors. As a consumer, I understand the visual appeal, but I feel that there needs to be more information on the product in order to motivate the audience to act.
